There are MANY verses concerning how one can enter the kingdom of God....But I will give you one:
John 3:3
3 In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.[a]"

--Born again of the Spirit of God- Saved by Jesus' blood- by believing what He did on the cross- that he died and rose again. -Then you are washed clean, forgiven- sealed with the Spirit. Born again in Jesus Christ!

1 Corinthians 6:10 - Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 15:50 - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Well, I do believe Jesus said that you could never enter Heaven if you were rich, although Christians dispute this by 'interpreting' the passage in the Bible.

As we in the west are all rich compared with the average human being on this planet, I'm afraid it doesn't look good for us.

Well it really depends you can't enter the kingdom of god unless you have passed the purgatory (I think that's how you spell it). A purgatory is basically the 'waiting room' and to actually be in heaven
you should know the ten commandments and try your best to obey them. That's what I understood during bible lessons.

To enter the Kingdom of God, there are few things you have to understand about the Kingdom of God first: The Kingdom of God is within you, although there is a place for all saved people to be in together, which is a glorious place and is splendid and beyond description, and is the place where we shall meet the Lord and see him by sight and not by faith and receive all blessings and thing cannot be told. Pual says: "The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." Christ own words on the entrance of the Kingdom is in Mathew 7:13, "13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it." Now we have described what is the Kingdom of God, where is the Kingdom of God, and how to enter into the Kingdom of God. Although Christ described the gate that lead to the God's Kingdom, and that those who enter therein are few, he did not describe who can enter the Kingdom. To know who can enter into the Kingdom of God, however, is not found in a verse here and there in the Bible, but is in the whole Bible in its entirety. To summarize the Bible and extract the answer of your question, we find that God made the entrance into His Kingdom not restricted to certain kind of people and is not by being religious man and by doing good things like praying or giving to the poor or keeping your self clean and not defiled by being with sinners and always fast ...etc. All of this cannot make you qualified to enter the Kingdom. It is what God did and in believing in what God did for you qualifies you to enter the Kingdom of God. So entrance to the Kingdom of God is based on the grace of God who made it possible for all men to enter therein. If you believe in the work of God and what God did for you to grant you salvation and free ticket to His Kingdom, then you qualify to enter into the Kingdom. How you qualify for the entrance then is by believing in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, who offered himself as a sacrifice to all mankind. The answer to your question becomes this simple: If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He offered himself as sacrifice of sin to yours and to all humanity, and if you believe that He resurrected the third day and gave us his righteousness as a free ticket to the Kingdom, and that Christ ascended to Heaven and now has all power in the Universe, then you can enter into the kingdom of God. The only thing required of you is to believe in what he did for you!

Unless a man is born again, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God, the Bible says. 'Born again' means to be born spiritually, for flesh gives birth to flesh, and spirit gives birth to spirit. It means to be a new person by admitting your sin to God, feeling the weight of your sin, and asking God to forgive you. To repent, which means to turn away from sin, and live a life pleasing to God, handing your will and your life over to God, for Him to use for His purpose.
