(*If you could have celebs there) What would you serve to your guests and what would the dress code be?

Mine would start with homemade cream of sweet potato and parsnip soup (not using milk, but creamed coconut), the main would be quorn and cashew nut risotto followed by a rhubarb and rapberry coulis with coconut cream and vegan friendly dark choc shavings!!

The dress code would be "Bring back 80's big hair rock!"You would strictly have to wear either an item of spandex, faux Leather (ie not real and made from plastic) biker jacket, something with leopard, zebra tiger or snake print, big hair , either your own/ slash - style wig OR some bangles (unisex). I would invite my close friends from work, Y A and in my local theatre group, Def Leppard, Sir Paul McCartney 'cos he could do with cheering up right now!!! and our favorite Red Neck , I mean we really need an a** for when we play pin the tail on the donkey after dinner!!!!

Oooh sounds fun, I wanna come!

I would have starter of tomato and mozzarella drizzled with olive oil, a main course of baked mushroom ravioli topped with a creamy smoked cheese sauce and tomato chunks, followed by banoffie pie.

(All vegetarian rennet-free cheese obviously, and gelatine-free pie)

Though all that's a bit too rich for some people so maybe I'd just go Chinese, veg spring rolls followed by some fried veggies and tofu with chow mein.

Theme would be Tarts and Vicars, but only if none of my family were coming!!

Wow, this sounds great.

Can I come ?

I'll bring lots of homemade vegan wine and beers. Although the barley wine I had last night needs a health warning....too strong. I have Merlot, Muscadet, Zinphandel, plum, barley, wheat, pineapple, apple and tangerine wine all ready now, that'll keep us going

I'll bring the really long drawing pins, can't make up my mind whether sharp or blunt would be best.

I'll ask CH if she's free, that'll be good for discussion with foxhunter guy, although i think we might need a pitch fork

I'd serve Acorn Squash stuffed with garlic risotto, Spinach salad with apples ,nuts and honey dijon dressing and crusty whole wheat bread.

Dress code: Casual

Who would I invite? Morgan Freeman, Whoopi Goldberg, Carol Burnett and Elton John for sure. There are too many people I'd like to invite so it's hard to choose!

That sounds delicious, can I come! I wouldn't mind some grilled tempeh as well and I could bring home made lime pickle and some vegan wine and drinks. I'd bring my friend Rob (vegan Roby, you know him?), I couldn't care less about celebrities

Thanks for the invite, but I'm not a vegitarian/vegan, so I'm going to have to politely decline.

My dinner party would have to include meat, there's no substitute for a delicious blue steak, with new potatoes and peas! The theme would be stupid costumes, like Monty Python etc. I don't know exactly who I'd invite, but Amy Lee (Evanescence) and Al Murray (comedian) would be invited!
