Ok..Over the weekend I was with a guy and one thing led to another. We didnt have sex but I gave him head. Well before I did I asked him if he had anything and he was like No I got tested and I dont have anything and if I didnt I wouldn't let you do this. Well it was my first time giving head so it didnt last long..prolly not even a minute...but Im worried that I might have gotten something. A few days after it happened I noticed that I had a small cut in my mouth..I sometimes chew on the side of my mouth when I sleep or it could have came from the chips that I ate eariler...He didn't get off but can I still get an STD????Keep in mind that it lasted less then a minute and he didnt get off.

Unless he had a sharp dick, he couldn't have cut you. A herpes sore is nothing like a cut.

Whether or not people orgasm/"get off" has nothing at all to with the possibility of transmitting and STD.
If you don't know someone very well or you aren't sure if you can trust them well enough for your comfort level you may want to reconsider if you feel comfortable enough to be intimate with them. And, in all cirumstances, especially those in which you don't know or trust someone very well you would be smart to practice safer sex, such as using condoms each and very time you have sex. You can use condoms while giving and receiving oral sex too. With that said, oral sex is for the most part a very low risk activity.
HIV: Can NOT be transmitted by giving or receiving oral sex.
Chlamydia and gonnerrhea: Can infect the mouth, but this is extremely rare.
Genital Warts: If someone has any genital warts you should not perform oral sex on them. If someone with genital warts gives you oral sex there is no risk to you.
Herpes: Is the primary STD that is a concern via oral sex. If someone has any sores on their mouth/lips etc. or on their genitals the area where they have the sores should not touch your mouth or genitals--they could give you oral or genital herpes. If a person has a oral sore they can give their partner genital herpes by performing oral sex on their partner--this is a very common way that people get herpes!!! If your partner has herpes but does have any current sores/current outbreak it is very, very unlikely to contract oral herpes by performing oral sex on someone with genital herpes.
You should read up on how STD's work:
plannedparenthood.org
ashastd.org

The cut in your mouth is not a symptom of an STD, though any cuts/openings in/on your mouth do make infection transmission easier.
Getting screened for STD's is always a good idea, often people do not have any symptoms with STD's. If you are concerned about the oral sex that you performed on this guy there is no testing that can be done for that activity with him. People's mouths are not tested/screened for STD's.
I would encourage you to call the national STD hotline with further questions. I suspect that your concern is more related to your regretting being intimate with this guy in the first place and not completely feeling good about being with him.

it doesnt make a difference - you can contract an STD by giving head, if you dont know whether that cut was there or not, you need to get checked. You don't have to give your doc all the details - just ask for a full STD check up... you can contract HIV, and other STD's this way. I'm sure you;ll be fine as the risk is pretty low but its still there... get yourself checked for peace of mind.

You get an STD from contact with infected tissue or fluids. This means that he didn't need to have an orgasm for you to get an STD. Certainly the transmission of genital warts and herpes has nothing to do with semen.

Do yourself and everyone else a big favor. Go online and learn all about sex, reproduction and STD's. Seriously. The quality of your life depends on how wisely you handle your sex life. If you make wise choices, know what you're doing, and know how to have a good time safely then your life will be MUCH MUCH better. Conversely, make one little mistake, and you (and those around you) will be paying for it for the rest of your life.

Yes you can still get an STD. It doesn't matter if he ejaculated or not. He still gives off bodily fluids and if that got into the cut of your mouth then you can get that STD. Be careful and guys lie all of the time. Check out the site below and see if that helps with any of your questions.

It doesn't matter if he actually got off or not, when you're giving someone head (unless he was wearing a condom and even in some circumstances there) there IS bodily fluids transfered through precum and all that fun stuff so yes, you could have gotten an STD provided he had one to give.

Whether or not he ejaculated is not the point. There is also such a thing as pre *** and if you had an open wound in or around your mouth, like a cut, and he had something, like herpes, you very well could have got it. Talk to your Health teacher or go to your local clinic and get tested.

Sure, you can get an STD that way. Even if he doesn't orgasm he can secrete small amounts of fluid. Plus, you don't need contact with the fluid itself to get an STD.

An STD won't give you a cut, but a preexisting cut can make it easier for you to get an infection.

yes, one can get a std from oral sex.

highly unlikely that it would show in the form of a small cut however. more probable....you simply bit the side of your mouth as you suggest.

if it's going to keep you awake at night thinking about it, simply get it checked out. A few buck for a peace of mind is priceless.

If he had an STD you can get it even if he didn't finish the job. You might want to see a doc and get tested. A little embarrassment is better than being dead.
