My Father had a heart transplant 13 yrs. ago and is going strong. He has had 3 blocked arteries and had angeoplasty(spelling sorry) he has also had rejection and lung cancer. He is now off rejection meds due to skin cancer and after a year is doing great. He plays golf 5 days a week and still travels. He is 64 yrs old. Relax!!! your going to live a long life.

My guy had a valve replaced with a metal valve and is on coumadin, obviously no rejection concerns but the heart is a scary thing. He used to worry about doing anything that could cause him to bleed, today he lives a little bit more and braver because he decided not to worry about it every day. He takes the meds, laughs and lives. It may or may not be the heart that takes him out, but worrying won't make that any clearer.
