OTC products are worthless and can be dangerous to your pets as well. Go to your vet and get either Frontline Plus or Advantage. These products work good and are safe.

None of those flea collars help at all and are a waste of money. Go to your local vet, and get Frontline Plus. You do not need an appt. and can buy this right over the counter. You can also get the same type of thing for your dog. They go by weight on the dog however, so do not get the same thing for both the kitten and the dog.

Pick up some Advantage or Frontline from your local vet. It works wonders. The flea collars and shampoos just won't do the trick this time of year. And whatever you do, NEVER use Hartz products on your pets, especially your kitten. It can cause serious reactions to your pet and has even been fatal. How it's still on the market, I will never know.

My vet yesterday gave my 4 month old kitten a pill to kill his fleas and I haven't seen a flea on him since. I don't know what it's called though. Ask your vet for it, it works.

i think the best thing u can get is advantage. its about 12 bucks per application but it is absolutely the best that we have used. we have a german shepherd, jack russell terrier, and 3 cats. shampoos and stuff work for whats already ON them. advantage i was told goes into their blood line or something just by applying it on their neck and any flee that bites them dies.
