Do you think we need to take her to the vet? We just got her also, probably about 3 weeks ago.

She's an inside cat and she's scared to go outside, so it couldn't of been from fighting.. Is this a serious problem for her?

Sounds like Chiggers. You could try an OTC remedy (PetsMart) for ear mites and other ear problems. But you should probably take it to the vet, some medications for one problem can help incubate another. You're description is hard to suggest what the possible problem could be.

if you let her out of the house she might have gotten in a cat fight or if they just bleed she might have an ear problem. i think u should take her to the vet for a check up.

Definately take her to the vet. If she's scratching at them, it could be ear mites or just a yeast infection. It could even be ringworm. All are pretty simple to treat.
