I'm planning on taking a trip there soon and just wanted to know when the pineapple get ripe. Thanks!

I think pineapples are year round in Hawaii. You can get them any time of the year. So you could go to Hawaii during the winter and there would be pineapples to eat, at least there should be.

I've been to the Dole Pineapple Plantation and it's really interesting. Take a ride on the little train - very interesting. Walk through the garden. Oh, & have they got a great gift shop!

Between the months of may, June and July.
My sisters used to work at the Dole Pineapple plant on Oahu.
It has since closed but still has tours of the facilities.

It's just simply cheaper to import them from Asian countries.
