it is best to know the person you are going out with for sometime, but attempting to have a date with him. you should know some personality traits about the person, his wishes and how serious he is.

I met Rick in the middle of July. We started dating at the end of July. I moved in in the middle of August. Pregnant by March, married in May. lol. 3 yrs later, we're still together, and with another baby.

wait until you start to get to know him or her pretty well (talk to on phone or internet COMFORTABLY)...then when you do go on the date you should go to a public place where lots of people can see you two
