The most boring commentator on Snooker progs

2006-10-24 03:42:05 · 14 answers · asked by Anonymous in Sports Snooker & Pool

Can I add that he does have a habit of correcting himself when he gets it wrong, is this not the sign of a very poor commentator?

John Virgo is worse. At least Taylor has won something! The way John Virgo slags off players you'd think he'd been a decent player. It's like having a conference footballer giving critical analyses like Alan Hansen

Not only the most boring commentator, the most boring player ever, how he ever won anything must be down to other players having an off day.

How can he be more boring than John 'Bloody' Virgo. Christ that man could bore the bum off an elephant. Somebody wake the man up I'm sure he's just talking in his sleep.

Well, there isn't normally much to get hyper about, is there? Would you prefer Murray Walker or Jonathan Pearce?

No, Doug Mountjoy is - he doesn't know when to shut up! I think they should just let us watch the match. The audience in the Crucible don't have to put up with the constant yap.
