No you can not. Herpes is a viral STD. Viral STDs are NOT curable. This includes herpes, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and HPV.

There are several different medication a person can take to help suppress the virus, but this is not a cure, and people will STILL get outbreak even when they take the medication. All the medication does is help prevent outbreaks and it lessens the severity of the outbreak.

Once a person contracts herpes they have it for life.

I got diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about 4 yrs ago, whilst I was still in college and had a silly one-night stand. I realize loads of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/fkWWE everything changed.

Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This system gave me back the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

No you can't get "rid" of herpes. It is a virus and currently it cannot be cured. U can take medication to suppress the outbreaks. it is still possible to spread herpes to others even though you currently don't have an outbreak. but that is how it is most commonly passed along. Using a condom also helps from spreading herpes to others. My best advice is to only have sex when u currently don't have an outbreak and use a condom as well. hope this helps.

No, not at this time. There is no cure. Someday there will be.

For now there are over the counter medications, as well as some pills that can be prescribed by a doctor. They will help prevent the outbreaks but cannot stop them entirely.

A person must try to eat properly and get the right sleep.......keep the stress levels down.

Hi Kaylee

Here are the answers you need.

Genital herpes is considered incurable. However, there is much that you can do using natural cures to significantly reduce the incidence of herpes outbreaks, as well as minimize the duration and severity of symptoms when outbreaks do occur.

Types of Herpes
Although there are more than 70 known herpes viruses, the two most common types of herpes are herpes simplex 1 (HSV1) and herpes simplex 2 (HSV2), or genital herpes. Herpes simplex 2 is a sexually transmitted disease, or STD, while herpes simplex 1 is often present in the body simply due to a weakened immune system, not as a result of sexual contact. Both types are very widespread among the population of the United States.

Cause
Herpes is caused by one of more than 70 infectious herpes viruses. Outbreaks caused by herpes are most often triggered by physical or emotional stress that suppresses immune function. Nutritional deficiencies can also increase the risk of contracting herpes.

Quick Action Plan for Herpes

1. Emphasize fresh, organic foods, with plenty of non citrus fruits and vegetables, complex carbohydrates, free-range, organic meats and poultry, wild-caught fish, and an abundance of pure filtered water.

2. Avoid all commercial, processed, and nonorganic food, as well as alcohol, coffee, sugars, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, food dyes, milk and dairy products, and wheat and wheat products.

3. Avoid all arginine-rich foods, including all nuts, sunflower and sesame seeds, coconut, chocolate, wheat and wheat byproducts, soy, lentils, oats, corn, rice, barley, tomatoes, and squash.

4. Be screened for food allergies.

5. Supplement with vitamin A, B-complex, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, vitamin C, zinc, adrenal glandular extract, quercitin, and the amino acid lysine.

6. Drink plenty of organic, fresh-squeezed carrot, celery and beet juice.

7. Apply salves of aloe vera gel or calendula cream.
Hot baths if you can tolerate them, followed with a short cold bath or sitz bath. Do this daily.

8. A useful herbal remedy for herpes is to combine tinctures of Echinacea, goldenseal, nettle and Siberian ginseng in equal measures. Take half a teaspoon three times a day to boost immune function.

9 Take precautions when you are in an outbreak to avoid spreading the virus to others.
To ensure you are following the most effective treatment plan, work with a qualified holistic health professional.

Best of health to you

Cheers

Once you have the herpes virus, it never really goes away. Stress and/or illness can cause it to flare up. It is easily treatable, but very contageous, so the best thing to do is to not kiss or have sex with someone when you're experiencing an active flare-up because you can pass the virus to your partner.
