2 vanilla wafers
+
1 miniature peppermint patty
+
shredded sweetened coconut dyed green (use food colouring)
+
a bit of frosting to stick it together, if needed
=
mini "burgers"
You can brush the top wafer with egg white and stick on sesame seeds for added realism, but that brings it out of the realm of "easy."

I have a 4 & 5 year old and they love to take apples on sticks (like you would for carameled apples) and dip them into melted white chocolate (you may have to help with this) and then let them put spooky candy "faces" on them. Then, they have not only got a nice treat but they get the satisfaction of doing it themselves also. It's really simple and fairly inexpensive ecspecially if u use almond bark and parafain wax. I have listed step by step how u do it. You may try it at home first. 1. put sticks in apples (this can be done the night before) 2. melt almond bark & parafain together 3. dip apples in almond 4. let children put candy on (gumdrops, candycorn, whatever u want to use) 5. Eat and Enjoy

I loved rice krispy treats when I was that age, and its really cheap. To make it fun, try putting some orange and black sprinkles on it. It will look festive and taste yummy! For games, the kids could dress up in pretend costumes. This is where the kids don't actually wear costumes, but they pretend to be something/someone. Kind of like Halloween charades for kids. The have to try to get the other kids to figure out what or who they are. Otherwise I would go with a classic...Halloween bingo.

My boys and their friends always liked rice krispie squares over every other snack. I would tint the marshmallows a light orange at Halloween. Also coconut macaroons tinted. Chocolate no-bake cookies with licorice legs to make spiders. Chocolate covered cupcakes with an waffle cone turned upside down on then and covered with chocolate and sprinkles to make a witches hat. Popcorn balls. As far as games, how about pin the nose on the pumpkin. Bobbing for apples. Candy corn bingo.

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies. Kids love them, too.
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
Mix ingredients and make into balls. Flatten on cookie sheet with fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees about 8 to 10 minutes. Yummy.
