French Restaurants?

Question

In Mexican restaurants, if you are nice to the waiters and speak to them in Spanissh, they don't spit in your food. But is it true that in French restaurants, no matter how pleasnat you are or how well you speak their language, they will spit in you food anyway?

Relax, people, it was just a joke.
It happens in all restaurants, not just the French, believe it or not. I've seen it.

LOL! I was a cook in a restaurant for years. That's why I don't eat-out much. If people really knew what went on in the kitchen they wouldn't eat-out!!!!!

I take it you must be young. Very young. So I'll be patient, & say that's a total crock.

Any restaurant that wants to make money would never tolerate something like that. I don't know where you heard that, but u have a better chance of getting a sneezeburger @ a T.G.I.F.'s, where the cook is 17, working for peanuts & hates his life.

No, of course not. That is just ridiculous and a lie put out by people who hate the French. One of the best trips I ever had was to beautiful Paris. Everyone was lovely and pleasant to us. I would go back without hesitation.

If you are that concerned about the way your meals are handled, maybe you should stay home and cook for yourself. What makes you think that some white American kid didn't drop kick your steak before grilling it?
Get real. People respond well to other people with manners. If they are rude, that's not an indication that they have sabotaged your food. Have some faith in the world.
