what's your budget like? Take a carriage ride through the park, go to the observation deck either at rockefeller center or the empire state bldg. at night...just gorgeous. Get her something to remind her of maybe your first date (or when you were just starting out) to remind her of a funny story the two of you share or something personal like that etc. If she has hobbies, then personalized items for it if you can. A piece of jewelry always works for me! lol good luck.

In the Bronx, there is a place called City Island. On City Island, the first restaurant you come to is SeaShore. If you like seafood, you will LOVE this place! It's not uber romantic in the people walking around with violins sense, but it is incredibly romantic. After my fiance and I go there, we usually just walk right next door where there is a little park overlooking the water. You are close enough to be able to go back into Manhattan and do a show or something, or just spend the night cuddling on a park bench watching the water. We were at the park so late one night, the valet just left our car keys in our car and went home. Its pricey but not $200 pp. We usually spend about $150-200 for dinner and that is an appetizer each, salad, dinner, some drinks, and sometimes (although we usually dont have room) dessert. We went there on our first anniversary and would have gone their on our second, but we were at a luau in Hawaii then.

I don't know what type of cuisine you would like, but don't do the Rainbow Room, please. Unless you have TOURIST stamped across your head. Try TAO. It is trendy, chic, and the food is good! Or antoher fun spot is DASILVANO on 6th. You can celeb watch while you are there. We were there last week for lunch and Sarah Jessica Parker was the table next to us. After that, you can go to Nikki Beach. Always have a great time here. I like the music because it's European club music, so you never hear the stuff on the radio. lots of fun!

Have a good time wherever you go!

restaurant's and all need reservations:
1. Patsy's- Italian
2. J.G. Melon's-American-great burgers-American
3. P.J. Clark's on 3rd avenue-American
4. Giambelli's-Italian
5. Joe Allen's after 10:00 p.m-celebrities dine here late-American
6. The Crystal Room in Tavern on the Green-American
7. One If By Land, Two If By Sea-American, romantic and expensive*****
8. The Palm-steak and seafood-expensive-American
9. Angelo's in Little Italy-Italian-little noisy but fun
10. Bouley-French

go to Chelsea Place for good music but the bar will be packed around 10:00 p.m.-good music-a cover charge-drinks will cost you like every where else

also, take her to a real popular Broadway play especially a musical-get your tickets as soon as possible!

make your restaurant reservations early as possible!!!!!!!!!!!

the other choice would be The Rainbow Room with a romantic atmosphere, wonderful view of the city, American cuisine, and dancing to a band playing mostly mood music for slow dancing
(not dance music). you could start here then go to Chelsea Place but if it is to late you might have to wait.
renting a limo for the night would be great!!!!!
enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take her to a restaurant that is opposite the Empire State Building and get it lit up in a shape of a heart like in Sleepless in Seattle.

Take her to Little Italy..............DaNico's, Joey's.......

Take a stroll around there, look into the restaurants, and see what's right for you as far as portions, crowd, etc. Most have menu's outside for viewing!!
