Of course you can go out with a person you haven't met before but are you CRAZY! Many things happen these days so I wouldn't recommend it. I mean you don't know what this guy is like or anything. Many people tend to lie when on the phone because you can't really look them in the eye or see their facial expression. But don't meet this guy if you don't want a possibility or anything happening to you.

You can go out with anyone you want, whether it is through a friend or otherwise. It is hard to form an opinion if you don't at least meet the person.

Well yea, because i did, and when we met we still liked each other, and now we have been dating for like 7 or 8 months. But just make sure yall don't fall for each other because when or if yall do meet one day, and u think he is ugly, it will be hard to leave him. But make sure your friend met him before

yeah, my cousin went out with a guy that she met on myspace, and she never saw him in person... but i suggest you meet at a movie or something if you are looking for a good relationship.

go on a group date with him so that it isnt completely akward or so that you have other with you, then if you like each other, go out seriously
