I mean: Chickpeas, green peas, black eye peas, pigeon pea, yellow pea etcetc Which are the negative one.

I think the negative calorie thing is a myth, too, from what I've heard. Besides, all legumes have quite a few calories, and I can't imagine that any of them would count as negative-calorie foods in case the idea isn't a myth.

They all have similar calorie counts.

negative calories are mainly a myth. The only "true" negative calorie food that has been proven is celery. In order for a food to be negative calorie it has to have less then 1 calorie per ounce.

no known peas are this low-cal and therefore, not negative calorie.

Negative meaning that it used more calories to burn off the food than are in the actual food itself? I actually heard that recent research proved this to be a myth.
