Hi, I do not have a diagram but you may be able to find what you need from the links below:

However, as someone who has worked on a diabetes ward I can say that you should aim to use the SIDES of your fingertips, and should try and rotate the sites or you will get very sore. Do not use the pad of the finger as this can cause irreversible nerve damage. Always wash the hand before testing as residue from food and even newspapers can affect the reading. Also do not squeeze the finger to get blood out, this causes plasma to leak out and can cause the reading to be lower than it actually is, instead rub the finger before you test to get the blood flow, gravity also helps.

I hope you find out what you need to know and if you or someone you know is a newly diagnosed Diabetic, good luck for the future.

The sides of any of your fingers and thumb. The middle of the finger is not acceptable because there's always the chance you might come in contact with bone. The index finger and thumb are not the greatest sites because we use these fingers so much and there might be discomfort after the stick. Don't continue to reuse sites over and over, because as the wounds heal up, plasma and platelets rush to the site and might affect the test. Your local hospital's clinical laboratory would probably have a diagram that you could use or make a copy of.
