Make a bucket of punch with floating hands in it. The hands are made by filling latex gloves ( talc free) with water and a little food colouring to tint them pink. Tie a knot in the end and stick them in the freezer, when frozen peel off the gloves and float them in the bucket. You can paint the stumps with pure food colouring if needed to make it more gory. Don't worry if a finger or two breaks off and floats around it looks good if bits are missing.

Everyone has to dress up as a famous old time movie monster or hero. Prizes for best costume. Dye the champagne green and make up some Halloween themed cocktails- like a Caramel Apple Martini and Red Devils. Serve "gross" kiddie food s along with the adult foods- like gummy worms and cookies shaped like fingers. Adults surprisingly like that a lot. If you have a private yard, get one of those outdoor fireplace dishes where people can sit around the fire. Toast marshmallows and talk.

I have a Halloween party for adults every yr, and I dont really tend to play games or so as it's just a chance for everyone to dress up and meet up after not having seen each other for a while. I also make cool alcoholic punches and scary food. It's always a blast, especially as you can make the decorations as gorey as possible :)

Offer drinks such as "Nuclear Waste," made with one shot blue curacao mixed with orange juice and vodka. Or, mix your favorite alcoholic punch and add an eerie cast to the brew with food colouring.......then when everyone is hammered get the ouiji board made!!!
