To melt the chocolate,use what's called a double boiler- Simmer a pot of water over medium heat until it comes close to a boil. Turn the heat to a simmer or low flame and set a glass Pyrex bowl on top of the pot. Fill with chocolate chips and stir together until chocolate chips are melted down and smooth. Remove from heat carefully and finish your dish. Hope this helps.

Rival makes a really good one. I first bought one at Wal-mart and it did not work. The motor was not strong enought to pump the chocolate out of the top. My neightbor had the same problem with hers which she also bought at Walmart. I then found one at a department store that was Rival brand. (my crock pot is also made by the brand Rival) It is really very nice and easy to operate and clean as well.

Bed Bath and Beyond. But make sure you use REALLY good chocolate or the fountain wil not work properly. It is a pain to clean, but fun for a party. Enjoy!
