the nicotine and other chemicals of the tobacco are absorbed under the tongue, and you probably swallow a little, too. The nicotine etc. are cancer-causing agents, not just mouth cancer but many places in the body. The tobacco also causes your blood vessels to squeeze tight, letting less blood flow through. This can cause heart attack and stroke. Tobacco is one of the most addictive drugs. Keep check on the inside of your mouth for white patches, sores, ulcers. These can be pre-cancers.

The tobacco can cause a cancer in the mouth, on the lips, the tongue. And of course the health and hygiene of it. "hold your head straight, your drooling out one side" things like that. it's just unsightly. Does you wife, significant other object to it, or do you exchange drool? ish!
