A first outbreak of the disease can take months or even years to occur following infection.

Some STD never show symptoms I think that you have to wait 2 weeks to be tested. Symptoms of Herpes shows up anywhere from 3-12 days after the exposure. Tell him to look for a fever that is a good sign of a primary outbreak. You can go to Planned Parenthood to be tested its cheap and its better to know than to wonder! sometimes they won't ever show up and he can be a carrier, but then sometimes it takes a while...if she have HPV then he will have it and show NO signs and she might not show signs b/c its all up inside her....steer clear of him in that aspect good luck chica

It is normally after 2-3 weeks after infection ..but some of of them are asymptomatic but they are rarely .but most of them are treated with pincilin or amplcilin shot except for the HIV.and some Asian diseases that resist drugs.
