I think you are talking about acyclovir, which was what your last question was about.
Acyclovir does NOT prevent genital herpes outbreaks. In fact, none of the medications for genital herpes prevent outbreaks. They HELP prevent them, but they are not 100% effective. People still get outbreaks whether they take medication every day or not.
