large adenoids. the tonsil like thingies in the back of your nose in the throat area.. if they are large, it prevents you from breathing through your nose properly.. another reason is deviated septum.. where the cartelige (sp?) is overgrown and obstructing proper breathing, some folks have to go and have plastic surgery to cut down the nose cartlige to help. Just see a doctor if you are not sure

Air ALWAYS takes the path of least resistance, so in some cases the path might be the nose, because it will be the least obstructed, and in other cases it's the mouth. Also, some people just breath that way from habit, some people are just natural mouth breathers.

Some people tend to get nosebleeds and therefore keep tampons inserted in their nostrils at all times. If they didn't mouth breathe, they would be in trouble.

Habit. I often breathe with my mouth open, especially while sleeping.

Deviated Septum can cause this.

well... if u dont brush your teeth or brush them too rarely u get a bad breath... Especially if u ate junk food...
