It's definitely possible it can be herpes. Herpes can be spread whether the person is having an outbreak or not (that's how I got it!) But, it might be someting else too.
The primary outbreak of genital herpes tends to last longer and be more severe than subsequent (recurrent) outbreaks. Symptoms of a primary outbreak may include:
* Flulike symptoms, such as fever, headache, and muscle aches. These symptoms usually get better within a week.
* Tingling, burning, itching, and redness at the site where an outbreak is about to occur (prodrome).
* Painful, itchy blisters on the penis, on the vulva, or inside the vagina. Blisters may also appear on the anus, buttocks, thighs, or scrotum, either alone or in clusters. They may be barely noticeable or as large as a coin.
* Blisters that break and become shallow, painful, oozing sores.
* Swollen and tender lymph nodes in the groin.
* Painful urination.
* Abnormal vaginal or urethral discharge.

I think your best bet is to see your doctor on Monday (and it sounds like you know that). They would be able to properly diagnose you and offer treatment if necessary. Good luck to you!

It does sound like your physiological symptoms are being exacerbated by feelings of guilt. Why do you suspect herpes? Important to note is that the only way to diagnose genital herpes is if you have genital sores. When someone has sores they are cultured for the herpes virus and are also diagnosed via visual examination by a clinician. So, if you do not have any sores you can not be diagnosed. Second, if you want screening for bacterial STD's such as chlamydia and gonnerhrea you should wait a minimum of 2 weeks after any intercourse that you are concerned about in order for the screening/testing to be accurate. You really, really should talk to the woman that you had sex with!!! Tell her that you are concerned, ask her if she has ever been diagnosed with anything or ask her if she has any symptoms. Most people with STD's do not know that they have them, most STD's are asymptomatic(no symptoms). And, with genital herpes esepcially, most people with it do not know they have it. People can have it, never have sores and then are never diagnosed and again don't know they have it. Thus, one partner could have it and not know it, they could unknowingly give it to a partner, that partner could have sores at some point and the couple may find out about one or both of them having herpes this way. There is no reason to blame partners. You both chose to have unprotected sex, you both chose to put yourselves at risk. It is not appropriate to blame anyone.

Sounds like a bladder infection. And, your friend may not be to blame. Herpes presents itself as a raw, painful sore. Just like the cold sores you might get on your mouth or gums. On the outside!
Have a swab test done. And next time, use protection.
And that small discomfort in your pelvic area? That is where your brain apparently is located. And you can go to hell yourself!

It may be epididymitis or prostatitis. Look this up on the web. It kinda sounds like what you are describing but I don't know. You can ask your doctor to check for herpes just to put your mind at ease. I hope everything works out for you and don't worry. Believe me we have all been there at one time or another I know I have. All the best.

Did you urinate after you had sexual intercorse?...If you do not it can cause a build up and cause you to urinate. I am 98% sure that you do not have an std, you may have a urinary track infection ..and herpies causes sores which generally are only passes when the infected person has an outbreak. I am sure you are fine sir. Just relax and stop drinking so much!

To me, it sounds like a urinary tract infection......but you may also have chlamydia too.Contrary to popular belief, men can get this! You can never trust people...not when it comes to sex! Std's are so dangerous! You'll be lucky if it's just a UTI....I wish you the best! Good luck at the doctor!

sounds like a kidney infection, not herpes. Herpes are blister like sores in the genital area that itch and are red. You don't have that. Maybe you just need anti biotics. It doesn't sound like a STD to me. I would think a STD would be on your skin not in your testicals.
