Ususally it's hummus served with pita bread:
Easy Hummus Recipe
Serves 6-8 as a dip or sandwich spread
Ingredients
*1 15 oz can chickpeas drained
2 cloves garlic minced
Juice of 1 lemon
½ teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons tahini
2 Tablespoons virgin olive oil
Place all ingredients in your food processor with the S blade and puree to desired consistency. I generally add a little purified water to get a nice creamy consistency. Taste and adjust flavors to your individual liking.
For variety try adding ½ cup fresh parsley and ½ teaspoon cumin for a more Middle Eastern flavor.
Enjoy your easy hummus recipe as a dip for crackers or vegetables or as a spread for your veggie wrap.

Or it could be Scordilitia, a white bean, garlic, mashed potato, olive oil and lemon juice combination. Tzatziki is more of a garnish, I know I worked in many greek restaurants, like salsa they would be like to give you what I first said, mainly because with Tzatziki you would be all garliced up be fore your food arrives, plus if you ordered a dish with more, you will not taste the rest of your food, yougart has a way of masking the flavours, because of the acids and milk products used.

Ironic, when I came across this site, I was thinking of this delicious spread and thinking of asking how to make it.
kmennie is right, It is a spread used in Lebonon and surrounding countries, it is so good, I have tried making it several times, just from what I remembered (25 yrs ago) and now I actually found a recipe, thank you kmennie and Asker of this question.
Great Question

Is it tzatziki?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tzatziki
...even has a picture, and a recipe. I use regular plain yoghourt, but let it sit and drain in cheesecloth (a coffee filter will do in a pinch) for a while so the finished product is nice and thick. I also like to add lemon, and sometimes let the liquid run off after the lemon and cucumber have been mixed in.
Another possibility:

Thats "Tzatzikiz" my friend, its served as a filler(antipasto) with warm pita bread or savoury crackers if you like pretty easy to make as well.. 3 Lebanese cucumbers(grated and gently sqeezed of excess juice) half clove garlic(crushed)4 sprigs of mint(chopped) 100ml vigin olive oil and 250 g greek style yogurt.Fold all thru yogurt(use half oil only) and refrigerate for 2hrs(flavours develop)then drizzle with remaining oil. It is particularly good with lamb kebabs.... enjoy.

I think they use Tzaziki (not sure if I spelled that right!). It's made with Greek yogurt, cucumbers, a clove of garlic and olive oil to taste. You mix it all up in a mixer. Watch out with the garlic because it tends to get a lot stronger as the spread sits.

I think you may be referring to tetitzee (I know I mispelled it). I make my own. You can make it by pureeing cucumber (removing the seeds) cream cheese, and, this part is real important, fresh shallots and a little fresh garlic. Mix in some crumbled feta cheese and let it sit overnight. Yummy. This is what is also used in Gyros.
