What does it taste like or how is it cooked?

If ever you have tried "sweet & sour pork", it's a Cantonese dish. There are a lot more to tell, especially I'm from a Cantonese family, but I can't type it all here. Below is a website which you can have some information about Cantonese food.

Southern Chinese or from Canton province. Just like Szchehuan is from Szchehuan province or Northern China.


Generally Cantonese food is sweeter and not as hot as other types of Chinese food. As far a cooking goes it depends on the dish, just like anything else.

There is a variety of regional Chinese cooking.

Hunan, Szechuan, Cantonese, etc.

As I understand it, Cantonese is not as hot or spicy as Hunan or Szechuan.
