No, it is not reversible. But you can prevent it from progressing. Stopping smoking is ALWAYS a good idea.

Emphysema is an irreversible condition. You cannot repair the damage nor stop its progression, you can only slow it down.

No repair is possible, but you may live longer.

You can slow down and cease further damage, the onset of it may not be as reverisble with out a whole holistic change of eating and habits....

(alcohol, coffee, etc etc, all things that have aggrevated sickness)

You can prevent it from worsening. It is permanent damage, so it can never reverse.
