I take showers daily like twice a day and I still have that smell. I never had that smell until I got herpes. Can someone tell me how I can get rid of that odor?

A fish odor is a good sign of a yeast infection or even BV (bacterial vaginosis). These can be easily treated with some antibiotics that your doctor can prescribe you.
I have had genital herpes for over 5 years now and I NEVER have a smell, whether I am having an outbreak or not.
I would definitely see a doctor. It sounds like a bacterial infection, not something caused by the herpes virus.

yes herpes can cause some odours. Sometimes as well this could be caused by an infection. Consult our doctor about our feelings about it and look into medication if it occurs after seeing the doctor. Taking alot of showers is only going to cause more problems and won't help with the odour. This will only cause massive drying of your skin and you don't want any extra problems to think about right? :-) This may sound corny but after a shower pat dry the area and try using a SMALL amount of baby powder around your entire bottom half, that will keep excess moisture away which causes bacteria to grow AND you'll smell soft and comfy.
