TEXAS CHEESE DIP
Velveeta cheese
Can of chopped green chilies
Breakfast sausage - cooked and crumbled.
Put your dip together in a crock pot - and it is ready to eat when cheese is melted. Really hearty dip - men go crazy for this dip.
BACON CHEESE SPREAD
1 Pkg cheddar cheese - shredded
1 Pkg of real bacon crumbles
1 Pkg toasted slivered almonds
4 chopped green onions (scallions) - use green tops too
Mayo just to moisten dip.
Mix together and chill. SOOOO good on crackers!
STRAWBERRY DIP
Washed whole strawberries
1 carton sour cream
Brown sugar
Dip the tip of the strawberry in the sour cream and then into the brown sugar - and eat. It sounds weird - but it is wonderful.

The tradition at my house on Christmas eve: Spinach dip with fresh veggie tray, roasted spiced pecans, stuffed dates with walnuts, finger sandwiches, and of course all kinds of sweets, i.e. pralines, divinity, miniature pecan pies, Christmas cookies and a bowl of spiced eggnog.

My family always does fondue. We heat oil, pour it in the fondue pot, and use it to cook shrimp and cubed beef. It can be really fun.
