It is for a Champagne reception at a Charity concert coming up. Have tried to get someone to donate about 75 bottles but obviously no ones been able to help. The event will consist of mainly press and v.i.p's and there could potentialy be a lot of free promotion for anyone who can help me. Thanks

Thanks 'Des does it for the ladies'. Exactly what i keep sayin but boss is adamant it has to be Moet. Have contacted Moet themselves and they've agreed to do a great deal for us. Just a last attempt really. good answer though - great minds think alike (or did you run a bar aswell)

i dont understand why anyone would go to a charity event and expect to get a freebie. buy cheap stuff, charge them double the price and put more money in the coffers!

Try France - if you are buying.
If not try other forms of sponsorship and spend the money on that. Also does it have to be Moet?
If it is a champagne reception for example, serve the wine in glasses, and have staff topping up from a decanter.
Most people wouldn't know the difference, and after a while would be too drunk to tell anyway.
They'd just feel more rubbish in the morning!

I don't know where you live, but around here, Moet runs less the $15 a bottle anywhere you go.

Try your local grocery store. I'm not sure if there's an Albertson's in your area, but they have great prices on alcohol. I know some small neighborhood stores that actually purchase the alcohol there to stock their store. It's sold cheaper at the grocery store than it is through the distributor.

Why does it need to be Moet?
Try Majestic Wine, they know what they're talking about, will make recommendations and will do you a deal.

I don't think any Moet is cheap, but you could try Barney's Liquor store in Florida. That's if you live there. Which you probably don't.

Any good supermarket. Tesco does a good range of champers, so try there. Where's my promotion?
