Most of our hearts are located on the left-side of our bodies so usually when we have chest pains associated on the left-side, we tend to link to the heart. Of course, it may be just a muscle strain due to hard breathing because one of our lungs is located on the left but then again, do not dismiss any possibilities. If you have this so often, it's best to see the doctor and find out. Shortness of breath, shivering and feeling cold are just symptoms of many illnesses and disorders, hence, it's difficult to pin-point what your suffering from. Hot compress aids in relieving cold and tension of your body muscles, thus, reducing any shivering. Eucalyptus essential oil helps to make breathing easier by clearing the air-passages of our nose. The best is still to visit the doctor for further diagnosis.

Depending if there's any history of respirtory problems(asthma, etc.) Do you have a fever? How long have you been sick and short of breath? Do have a any chest pain? Could be a nasty virus or some sort of infection. Sounds like maybe a visit to the doctor might be in order.

I would go straight to the doctors young lady! It sounds as if your in the first stages of pneumonia! so you must not let it develop into pleurisy! If you are having difficulty in holding your head up, you may even have a partially collapsed lung! Antibiotics is what you need, quickly! Off you go!!! And for Gods sake don't delay!
