There are a chain of restaurants in London called Benihana where a chef comes to your table (Teppenyaki) and cooks your food for you in front of your eyes.

There is also a restaurant called "Mongolian Barbecue" where you choose the ingredients (meat, seafood or tofu), then add what veg you like and 2 ladles of sauce then give it to the chef. The Chef then BBQ's it up and hands it back to you cooked.

I think for health and safety reasons they don't allow the customers to cook their own food in restaurants in London.

What would be the point of going to a restaurant where you cook your own food? Why wouldn't you just go to your own kitchen?

There is a restaurant in Portsmouth called Charbar where you have a grill in the middle of the table, enabling you to cook your meat/fish to your requirements. I don't know if this is a chain restaurant with other locations.
