Give the manager a "14day notice to cure" this gives them 14 days to fix the problem and you a legal way out of your lease and the return of your deposit. This has to be in writing and besure and have them sign it when they get it as well as your copy. Any questions please e-mail me at gjan1996@ yahoo.

Take pictures of the water damage with dated material in the picture, like a news paper. Next step is to get a holed of the managers boss or owner of property. If you are on some government assistants contact them a.s.a.p. Also if you have a case worker you should also notify them. Pictures and a written letter should get you on your way to repairs.
