i was eating chinese and chipped a tooth. hurt like hell. told the owner and he cussed and swoar and said it was not his fault. All I was asking for was a free meal. Because of the tooth. He called the police and everything. I left before they arrived.

Anyway. A friend who was with me told me pay backs are a B..I..T..C..H... I was in so much pain and could not get into the dentist for two weeks.

There was this huge bike tram in town. Like 1000 people traveling cross crounty on their bikes. They were staying at the park and camp ground.

So I called the resteraunt and told them I was with the tram. I said I need food delivered to the park. I told them I would be waiting by a table near the enterance.

I ordered 500 wontons
200 egg roles
25 quarts of sweet and sour chicken

Then my friend and I went and parked near the enterance...man was it funny. watching these chines people run all over trying to find who ordered the food....

there is more so do not respond yet

They had a van. And after 20 minuts of running around asking people they left.

So I called and said excuss me when is my food arriving. And they said sorry we could not find you. We will be right there.

so once again they came. I told them to meet my by the table at the enterance and to unload the stuff there...

so they came back and unloaded. but found no one. so one stayed by the food and the other one ran around franticly asking who ordered the food.

we laughed so hard... 45 minutes later they loaded up and left.

Yeah, this is not very funny and regardless of what anyone has said, there is no way you would have won a lawsuit against the establishment. There are laws and regulations out there that protect restaurants. You would have had to prove negligence. The only way you would have won would have been to prove that they knowingly gave you food that contained something you are allergic to. Even then you would have had to prove an immense amount of negligence. This is called frivolous.

Did you ever think what would happen if they found out (which I doubt they would or will) that you were the one that called, you would spend the rest of your life working for them without receiving a paycheck. The defense would have chipped a tooth chewing you a new ****, dear. They would have won and still could if it ever got out. Depends on how close the incident with you in the restaurant occurred to the incident of them preparing food occurred, you are not in the clear. You better hope no one "accidentally" mentions it.

Immature young people do foolish immature things and have done so since forever. You thought your joke was funny but it was not funny to the owner or the employees. And I think I detect a bit of prejudice in your view of Chinese People.

Now you do know you have plenty to be worried about. Should the Chinese owner decide to do so he could sue you for his loss in this fiasco and here on this site you have admitted responsibility to the whole world. How would you feel about reimbursing the restaurant for its financial loss?

All one would have to do is hire some hacker to track you down. Then call all the Chinese Restaurants in your area until they found the right one you pull the prank on. That will not be hard to do at all. It will not take any more effort than you went to and somebody will think it is a hilarious joke on you. I can just envision some bright Chinese graduate student right now looking who you are and planning to give you a dose of your own medicine.

What goes round comes round Buddy Boy......It shore does.

The story may have been funny but look what you put innocent employees who had nothing to do with your trouble through. The manager was the one who caused your grief . The Manager might have suffered from the loss of food but it was wrong to put innocent employees thrugh a tough time just because you had a beef with the Manager at how he reacted to your chipped tooth. Like he puposely tried to chip your tooth. Maybe in the future you might want to think about the innocent before you react.

I think it's incredibly cruel what you did. You merely caused trouble for the poor employees. Probably the same guy that cussed you out was cussing them out later (cause they would get the blame), and they're just waiters/waitresses trying to make a living like you and I. If you really wanted justice, I'd have waited for the police. It's doubtful you'd have been arrested as you had a genuine injury. If they had arrested you, you could have added false arrest to your law suite portfolio. Seriously, with a good lawyer, you could have won. Heck, even with a semi-good lawyer you could have won.

If you were not shoving your face with food, you would not have chipped your tooth. It is not the restaurants fault that you have decaying teeth. There is something out in store called a tooth brush. You might want to invest in one. Not funny

Not the least bit funny - too many innocent, hard working people were affected by your childish prank (which could have resulted in very serious legal consequences).

By the way, if you are going to continue posting these long, drawn-out, not-so-funny stories, please use Spell Check.

Hee, honestly, it did make me laugh but its just plain horrible. Hee-hee, yes, funny, i'm still laughing. Maybe, if you had have placed your tooth on the plate and show it to the manager, he might have given you a free meal.;)

dood, first off you're blaming someone for an accident they didn't technically cause. it's like blaming for sidewalk for you tripping on it. so that's stupid. it's people like you that deserve to just drop dead and die because you complain about the stupidest things in the world and just cause you can't it your way, you cry like a little baby. grow up!
