Never heard of home kits...I would get tested at the doctor's to be 100% sure.

You should test yourself every 6 months for awhile I am not sure how long. But that is the standard procedure.

HIV can be very tricky to detect... i would go to the dr. to get tested or the health dept. it all depends on how much virus is in your body and how much it has prgressed for them to find it... it took three test for me so double check youself by going to the dr...
