Well, that would be up to the vegan. There isn't some rule book that vegans consult. They just do what feels right for them. Some vegans eat honey, some don't. It's case by case.
But regardless of that, I'm pretty sure that a venus fly trap is not a tasty treat, so it's not really an issue.

Maybe, but who'd want to. The V F T is a smelly plant too and grows in smelly moss. I guess it depends on how hungry a person is.
Besides, vegan or not, everyone who does outdoor sports has swallowed a bug or two and I'm not talking by choice.

Yes, why not? Unless you consider insects meat. Even if insects are meat , vegans shouldn't have qualms about eating a plant.

A venus fly trap isn't an animal by-product, so I'm not certain that there's any difference between this, and lettuce.
Most plants have interaction with animals...whether they are fertilized with manure, or are seeded by manure. One way or another, everything on the planet is inter-related.
