Sorry about the repeated details!
I guess I should clarify my question. I have already read the advice "always use protection.. STD transmission is still possible" and I am not asking for that. When I said what are the rates of infection I actually meant:
What is the probability specifically for an individual male that he will become infected by an STD from receiving unprotected oral sex from a female. What the infection transmission chances for any relevant STDs in this specific situation?

Any transfer of body fluids carries a risk of transfering STD's, although it doesn't look like vaginal oral sex is that risky according to the table below. A dental dam can be used(think of a condom cut in half length-wise) to prevent transfer of STDs for vaginal oral sex.

YES there is. Body fluids and skin contact are being made while you have oral sex too, which is how stds like to be transmitted. BUT she would have to have an infection like cold sores (what is caused by oral herpes) or an std in her mouth in order to give you some thing via having oral sex.

Receiving would be more dangerous if you had lesions on your nether regions or she had sores in her mouth. HIV would have a very low risk in this incident as I am assuming most viruses would as the saliva contains low amounts of viruses and there probably isn't an entry way on your body. I wouldn't stress but maybe get it checked out, as any sexually active person should have regular STI checkups. Remember the worry you feel now and use better precaution in the future. Herpes and HPV can both be trasmitted via saliva. HIV is also secreted in saliva, but the risks are small if your skin is otherwise intact and the woman has no open sores in your mouth.
For infection rates, try wikipedia under STD, but the actual rate of infection would vary from region to region depending on the numbers of carriers.
Moral of the story is....use a condom everytime, for any sexual contact, period.

what ever the chances are, it is not worth it. I don't mind giving a few tips. If she is going to give YOU head, use a condom, preferably flavored. Ask her what she likes, i personally prefere kiss of mint from lifestyle. Also if YOU're giving HER head, then use a dental dam. It's a latex sheet. I haven't heard if they come flavored, but there are jellies and lubricants that are safe for that.
