I'd like to start by saying I'm not a doctor!!! But I do suffer from an under active thyroid.
Basically, an under active thyroid slows down the metabolism and other systems of the body. I'm not sure it would directly affect the other conditions you mentioned, but the uncreative thyroid will cause tiredness, dry skin, hair loss, weight gain, and sometimes even depression.
The good news is that under active thyroids can easily be treated by taking levothyroxine. There aren't any side effects of the medication as it exactly duplicates your natural thyroid hormones.

I am a type 1 diabetic and my thyroid is low. So far so good. I take my thyroid medication and my insulin shots. 1 doesn't seam to bother the other. Good part my doctor can handle both conditions. I see an endocrinologist.

My sister has had an underactive thyroid for quite a few years and had just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes...a real shocker as she ticks none of the boxes..the doctor has not mentioned to her any significance of how her thyroid condition will affect her diabetes...I will tell her to ask...thanks

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/yGuSc
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

An under active thyroid can be helped through acupuncture as this will not interfere with the medication for the other problems !
