Please go and get checked - chlymidia is one of the silent std's - you could have it and not know, then pass it on to a girl who may also get any symptoms until its too late and she is made sterile by this horrible disease. If you are tested positive the treatment is simple - do yourself a favour and get a test asap. xx

What you think you have does not show symptoms for maybe years if at all. It would however show up maybe in years to come. The STD she has could be something else entirely.
Best advice is get to a doctor right now and be checked for any STD.
Good luck.

Do You Have Chlamydia?
Look for these symptoms-
Chlamydia goes undetected in most people. As it is one of the most common and fast increasing STD, look for these signs and symptoms if you suspect it.
Men:
Think of chlamydia if you have
* Pain in testicles
* Discharge from penis
* Pain during urination
* Pain in lower abdomen
Women:
Think of chlamydia if you have
* Pain during intercourse
* Discharge from vagina
* Pain in lower abdomen
* Pain in urination
Action:
Please contact a STD center or your doctor immediately. Your doctor will take a swab and get a culture test done or send your urine to the lab for testing. Chlamydia is an easily treatable condition, if detected early. In later stages, it may cause many complications that include- swelling in testicles which is very painful, PID in women that may also lead to infertility, prostatitis in men and severe eye infections in both men and women.

Clymidia often has no symptoms. See your doctor, or if you prefer, an STD clinic.
And do it NOW!

My son had contracted this std but he did have bouts of pain in his privates. He went to GP who sent him to the hospital to get checked out. He was given a course of medication and has been clear ever since. Better to get checked out just to be on the safe side, your girlfriend will have to get treatment also otherwise it will just get passed back and forth if not treated.

Just because ther are no syptoms doesn't mean you haven't contracted the STD, in fact there are usually no symptoms anyways. You should definitely go to the doctor.

You can buy a test at BOOTS the chemist... i think its a urine sample... and i think the results are quite quick .... although i would attend an appointment at doc or clinic as they say there is a high risk of being more than 1 type of infection normally present. If its what you think/say a course of antibiotics clear it up within 3-7 days.

I am not an expert on these things but I do know that symptoms can hide and you can harbor and pass these things without ever knowing. Get checked !! Left untreated and you will regret your decision for life.
