Yes, they can even floss their teeth, pick their noses, and raise chickens. Amazing, huh?

Yes people with HIV can drink alcohol. But also keep in mind that alcohol if not processed by bottled sources can be contaminated if not homogenized or pasterized properly.
People with HIV are at risk because their immune system is weak. They should not drink from the same glass with somone who has a cold becuase their immune system is weak from HIV. This can cause them to get sick.
What you may also be thinking about is a YEAST infection. If you have a yeast infection you should stay away from alcohol because of the sugars and yeast, they can feed the infection causing it to proliferate and enumerate infection.
Hope this is some help to you.

They can, in the sense that they can have a drink or two and won't drop dead, but it depends a lot on what medications they are on.
Many people who have lived for years and years and stayed healthy with HIV (not progressing to AIDS), though, follow a good diet, exercise, and avoiding alcohol, which puts undue stress on the liver.

Assuming they are not taking a medication that makes alcohol contraindicated, they can drink like anyone else, in moderation. Excessive alcohol intake can hurt the immune system and of course has other health risks like liver damage. A person with any chronic illness needs to discuss the use of alcohol with their doctor.

As long as this person doesn't have hepatitis (liver infection). I would ask the doc because if this person is taking HIV meds, I think there are some that are contraindicated with alcohol. I could be wrong tho. I would ask the MD about that one.

I think you must seek to maintain your health or to improve it instead of thinking of alcohol. Yes to seek how to get rid of this HIV (it is possible). Nowadays the ancestral practices to get rid of all kinds of deseases remake surface for our safety. Then don't take alcohol which can deteriorate your health but rather seeks solutions to live bether with HIV or kick it out.
