I am having a Wild West Party and need ideas for finger food in a wild west sort of theme. So far I have the following ideas:
Corn on the cob
Nachos
Fried chicken bites
Potato wedges

Any other ideas???

Make a cake shaped like a catus or cowboy hat.
Cocktail sausages (call them "little doggies")
Star cookies, decorate to look like Sheriff badges.
Hot dogs and beans or BBQ Brisket sandwiches.
Kool-Aid and cake.
If able to have it outside, set up a Camp Fire with Dogs and Beans
sarsaparilla or rootbeer
Roast marshmallows and serve Smores for Late Night Snack
Trail Mix
Chili dogs

INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 cup barbeque sauce
1 onion, chopped
2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chile peppers
1/4 cup chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin roast, trimmed
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
DIRECTIONS
In a 3 quart or larger slow cooker, mix tomato sauce, barbeque sauce, onion, green chile peppers, chili powder, cumin, oregano, and cinnamon. Place pork in slow cooker, and spoon sauce over to coat. the meat.
Cover, and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours, or until pork is tender.
Remove pork to a cutting board. Using 2 forks, pull meat into shreds. Pour sauce into a serving dish; stir in cilantro and shredded pork.

Serve on "small" slices of french rolls....

my daughters recipe is for armadillo eggs take whole pickled jalapenos and split them to remove the seeds fill them with your favorite cheese cream cheese is great but we have also used different kinds of cheddar cheese [shredded is best] velveeta is good and pepper jack is really good wrap the peppers with sliced bacon and bake them until the bacon is done or longer if you want the bacon to be crispy they are great also corn on the cob baked in the oven or cooked on the grill pull the shuck back on the corn but dont remove it wash the corn pull one side of the shuck back up and add butter and your favorite seasonings pull the rest of the shuck back up wrap them in foil individually and back about 30 minutes all the flavor is held in and they are great

How about cheese bites, chicken nuggets, chicken strips, sausage rolls, pickles, es cargo, nachos &dip, vegies & dip, shrimp ring, spring rolls, pork bites, chicken bites, mushroom turnovers, mini quiches, pepperettes, wings, how is that list for you?
