IT'S CALLED YEAST INFECTION! It could be the soap you are using, try using mild, non-scented soap. Douching a lot will also do it. Taking antibiotics can cause yeast infections. Don't wear clothing that is too tight. Wear cotton underwear, something that breathes well. Eat yogurt, that will help. It will pass on it's own, normaly once you have your period it will go away. And if you have it and have sex a lot, your partner might keep passing it back to you. Sometimes the guy can take some kind of medication to avoid passing it back to you, but it's not necessary. Just slow down on sex for a while until it goes away. Only use non oil based products for lubricant. Don't use baby oil or petroleum based products.

It could be the antibiotics given for the UTI- antibiotics can cause yeast infection and sometimes just hormonal imbalance that will cause the odor. Do you have any thicker whitish discharge along with itching? If so, it may be a yeast infection. If there are no other syptoms it may just be an imbalance- call your doc in both cases, there are meds (some may even be otc) that they can give you for either one. During pregnancy our body's will change and you may just have to deal with the odor if there are no other choices your doctor would like to impliment ( I don't see why not). But until then, try to keep there area as clean as possible with antibacterial soap and very dry (if you begin to sweat- air it out by standing over a fan or AC vent LOL or just sittingand relaxing) Also wear loose fitting clothes and cotton underwear, that may help. Goodluck :)

There is always a possibility you could have bacterial vaginosis. This is not a STD, but the vagina produces a natural discharge and can sometimes cause an odor. To get rid of the odor, simply douche and wash with summer's eve feminine wash.

This is best discussed with your gynecologist because what's normal for some is not normal for others. I never have problems with vaginal odors or yeast infections but I know others who do and for them, it's related to how often they douche.
Personally, I feel the only 'odor' you should ever have would be the smell of blood during your cycles. I don't believe a woman should ever smell fishy. Also, be very careful about wearing tight or wet clothing and during the summer, wear cool, cotton clothing and undergarments (with undyed crotches only).
If you find yourself douching regularly, you may want to follow this link for more information:

Well, it depends when you get it. If it's right before or right after you get your period, it is just the mixture of some blood with vaginal fluid...blood smells. Vaginal odor is usually individual depending on how much vaginal fluid is produced, how much sex you have (condoms have chemicals that can change your smell) medications, vitamins, ovulation, stress...but if you're worried you can ask your gyn to take a swab sample and test it.

Probably just bacterial vaginosis, a condition in women where the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina is disrupted and replaced by an overgrowth of certain bacteria. It's sometimes accompanied by discharge, odor, pain, itching, or burning. It can be caused by having a new sex partner or multiple sex partners, douching, or using an intrauterine device (IUD) for contraception.
BV is treatable with antibiotics prescribed by a health care provider.

Vaginal odor is often associated with a yeast infection. If you also have milky discharge and itching that's what it is. Yeast is treatable with over-the-counter products from any pharmacy.

ovulating might cause some discharge and odor (14 days before you get your next period) and you need to shower daily for everything down there to stay really fresh. Additionally you can get some deodorants at the pharmacy that will leave you smelling like roses....
hope I helped!

Why are you getting tested so often? If you're having unprotected sex with mutiple partners, you'd better stop it or you'll end up stinking a lot worse--like from rotting in the ground.
