It's possible it is a wart. There are over 100 different kinds of HPV and about a dozen of them can cause warts.

HPV can cause warts to grow faster and bigger if a woman is pregnant. HPV is usually not spread to the baby. It's possible for the baby to contract HPV during birth, but it is pretty rare.

Your doctor can give you some medication to use on the warts while you are pregnant. It won't harm the baby at all.

Talk to your doctor and have them take a look. They will be able to properly diagnose you and give you proper treatment. Good luck!

ASHLEYB; Alli is exactly right!! Do get to a Dr. I had warts burned off at one time; but after a period of time-they came back.I had 2 children without even knowing I had the HPV virus because back then, they didn't even realize it existed!! (1980&1983). During all of my life that I went to an OB/GYN; not 1 of them said a thing about the dozen warts I had down there-and I even told them that they hurt; but still nothing!
Finally, and I thank God for this, my reg. Dr sent me to this special OB/GYN because she tried twice and could not get a good enough pap on me! As soon as this new Dr looked at me, she did the pap-then told me she had to schedule me for a biopsey; and that she needed me to meet her in her office. There she said she was sorry but she believed I had vulvarian cancer. Biopsey came back as she suspected; I was in Stage 3 vulvarian cancer; at the Cancer Center I went to, he told my Dr they caught it just in time-another 3 weeks-month, at best I would be wearing a cathetor the rest of my life. But his worst case scenario; I would have died.
So please, get to your Dr-talk to them; and find out what you need to!! For you and that precious baby you are carrying. That baby needs a mommy around to raise him.
Good luck honey & God Bless you both!!!!!

You should definitely go to the ginecologist, if you have HPV and you are pregnant you need to get treatmente so that the baby won´t be born with it. So get yourself a good medical exam and get teh right treatment, HPV shouldn´t be left mistreated it can cause cancer.

Go to doctor now, now, now, now. You could be putting your baby in trouble.
