I went to an adult video store and was watching a movie in a private peep booth when a guy walked in. Well to make this story short we masturbated together....I masturbated him and then me. Well..Either I have poison ivy or herpes. What are the chances that I could have contracted herpes by this?

You might have herpes, but honestly I kind of doubt it. Even though herpes can be spread by skin to skin contact, chances of getting it from masturbation are pretty low.
It's usually spread by sex and direct skin to skin contact with the genital area of someone who has the virus.
Are you in a lot of pain? Genital herpes has a VERY distinctive pain to it. I was in so much pain during my first outbreak I was prescribed Vicodin along with antiviral medication.
You might just have a rash or something. Either way you should be checked out by a doctor. They will be able to properly diagnose you and suggest some treatment if necessary.

First off, like everyone else here has said...go to a doctor and get it checked out. Now to answer your question: it would be unlikely but not entirely impossible to get herpes in this manner. There is a condition called herpetic whitlow (basically an infection on your finger of hand from touching the open blisters) than can be spread by touch. Also, if this guy was masturbating you off, he most likely has been doing this to other men. He could have come in contact with the virus after masturbating another man with herpes, had the viral particles still on his hand when he touched your penis. Herpes is painful, not itchy though, so I don't think you caught herpes...but there are other STD's that can be transmitted much the same way as I described, so doesn't hurt to go get checked out.

Well, none of us have ever heard someone getting pison ivy from a peep booth. Like another writer suggested, Herpes is not your problem, but your lifestyle is. Masturbating strangers is kinda spooky. Have you showed any signs or is this just a simple question? I too had a Herpes scare, take a blood test. I highly doubt you have Herpes, unless you did something besides this that you did not share in your question! You will feel much better after the blood test. Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it.
