It takes a certain type of person to deal with a child that is physically or mentally challanged or seriously ill. If I had a stable family life ( I think that is the most important thing in having children, adopted or not) and both my husband and I had stable incomes ( this will be a seriously expensive endeaver) I wouldn't hesitate to adopt a child because of any kind of illness or affliction. They are the ones that need homes and love the most! There are actually people that still believe you can catch AIDS just by being around someone! If you feel you are the type of person that can deal with the pain of having a seriously ill child, I say "God Bless You".

yes, to save the child from the bs of "HIV" positive.

The "HIV" test is only an antibody test.

The babies get the antibodies from the mom.

Pregnancy antibodies cause false postives on the alleged HIV antibody test.

Most kids wont test positive after 2 years.

The world is so f-ed up on this HIV+ sh it. The facts are in the medical journals if people would only read them or the media would accurately report.

Yes, we would be more than glad to adopt a child, no matter wether he or she was HIV +

yes, if I had the time & resources to take care of a fragile child-
I think those children have much less of a chance to be adopted, so, I would not want to see him or her suffer alone any longer when they already have such a scary disease. I would want to love that child.

yes, if I had the money and the time to devote to that child yes I would what better way to show love than for a child that is sick and most assuredly needs love and care I would have a house full of kids and dogs and anyone else that needed love

good question.

For us... 2 married adults and a daughter... my answer would be no. Couldn't risk our health.

For others... I sure hope that people could do it, because everyone needs to know they are loved.
