Ihave peripheral vascular diesease and have had 14 phem-pop surgeries to replace pieces of artery.Ihave been on on blood thinners, had strokes high bood pressure and i suffer severe memory loss at times Dont Guess about the memory loss find out from a vascular surgeon as it could be clots or a slight bleed.I have to take a lot of meds to counteract my arterial desease.I am also a diabetic which makes thi more important to see a specialist as meds react differentlywhen mixed as opposed to by themselfMy surgeons have kept me going for 5 years longer than was first said. First you must listen to them.I thank them and Ithank God every time i wake up. WE only have 1 life dont waste itby not seeing specialists. They have come a long way in the past 5 to 10 years..It also make a difference if Its caused by lifestyle or heredity this can make a huge difference in a treatment regeime.

NO,but:
the same condition that affect the "peripheral" arteries of legs can affect the "central" arteries of brain ( eg aging, high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking etc).
If you are really having trouble because of memory loss then you must see a neurologist & may be even psychologist & they will do specific est that show if there is any peoblem with memory.
the subject is sooooooooooooo diverse that its beyound discussion here, see a neurologist.

Bad circulation in any part of your body is usually a bad sign that you have poor circulation throughout your whole circulatory system. This can be reversed with the right program of diet and exercise, but it demands a lot of dedication and requires expert guidance.
Read the works of Dr Dean Ornish, or Julian Whitaker for info, or see the book Forty Something Forever to see some of the ways to help recover from this problem. Good luck!
