Cayenne extract starts to work immediately. Doctor's won't tell you this but it is true. I drink three cups of warm water every 4 to 6 hours every day with about a half to three quarters of a teaspoon of 100,000 scoville units(heat units) for everything. Wish I found out about this before I had a blood clot in my heart back in 1995. Cayenne rebuilds the heart muscle, stomach lining and thins the blood to the consistency of ink so that your brain as well as the rest of your body gets all the rich blood it needs. It prevents colon, prostate and uterine cancer with regular use. It lowers cholesterol 50 points in three days. If you have high blood pressure it lowers it to normal. If you have low blood pressure it raises it to normal. Cayenne pepper in the drinkable form actually help prevent 11 major diseases and helps you to cure yourself of many more. Take it and heal yourself and do not listen to doctor's advice because all they will tell you is that it hasn't been proven by the AMA. That is because it is a beneficial herb not a drug that doesn't do anything except make you sicker. As you can see I am a major advocate for herbal relief. Stick with herbs and you will never be sick again. Try going to herbdoc.com on the web and see what you are missing.

You should read Left For Dead by Jack Quinn (available on Alibris) or Let's Get Well by Adelle Davis. See also: The Aspirin Alternative by Dr Mike Loes.

The problem with herbal supplements is that they are not regulated by the FDA, you really don't know what you are getting. I would use real drugs, it depends on the type of clot (arterial or venous) for the treatment.
