All bacterial STDs are curable. Viral STDs are not curable.
Curable:
Chancroid
Chlamydia
Gonorrhea
Syphilis
Trichomoniasis
Crabs (Pubic Lice)
NOT Curable:
Herpes
HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
Hepatitis
HIV/AIDS
HPV is considered an incurable STD because there is no "cure", BUT most people can actually get rid of the virus on their own. Their bodies are basically able to fight off the virus. Some people will have it their entire life though and are unable to get rid of it.

HPV goes away on it's own because it is a virus.
There are some STDs that are bacterial; those can be cured.
Curable STDs
Chlamydia
Gonorrhea
Syphilis
Trichomoniasis
Vaginal Infections
These STDs are caused by bacteria (a kind of germ).
Not Curable STDs
Genital Herpes
Genital Warts HPV
Hepatitis B
Human Immunodeficiency Virus HIV
These STDs are caused by a virus (another kind of germ).

AllanW; As far as everyone saying that HPV is not cureable; they truely need to get up to date on things I'm afraid. Just like "GAMBINO VEGA" said; with proper diet, proper excersise; proper rest, and NO smoking-you CAN get over HPV. The woman that diagnosised me, my OB/GYN with Cancer;Stage 3 when nobody else did; and I had it for 33 years!!! It was growing do to genital warts I had, but nobody else ever did anything about it; even when I gave birth to 2 children!
Anyway; those are the very things she told me to do; and I would rid my body of the virus completely after 1 year!!! My daughter has it also, and she told her the same thing, as she had a girl last year that had the same thing, and she followed the instructions and now she is HPV CLEAN!!!!
Good luck; and I hope I helped you.

AIDS/HIV, Herpes and HPV (human papilloma virus, aka genital warts) are all incurable, but controllable. Other than that I am quite sure all other STDs have some sort of cure.

HPV is not curable, it is a std, it can go inactive but it will never fully go away, I know myself because I have it, mine has been inactive for awhile now.

I know that most stds are curable with antibotics.HIV is not curable nor is herpes but there are medicines on the market to help control both of these.
As for h.p.v being curable it is not. There is a new vaccine on the market that has been tested and is being marketed as being a safeguard against the infection.
