You are demonstrating symptoms that require a doctor's examination and evaluation. Regardless of whether there is diabetes or not, there could be any number of diagnoses involved and needing treatment.

If you do have diabetes and have these symptoms, it needs to be closely monitored by an endocrinologist.

Some minor physical symptoms people can let go if and see what happens. But your symptoms do indicate something is wrong, especially your extreme fatigue, inability to walk more than a few yards, not able to bring down your sugar and weight loss.

Don't mess with this! Start with an internist or family doctor, unless you already have a specialist!! Please take care of yourself!

If your diet and the amount of insulin you take is the same as it was then something else has changed.
You do not say how old you are but if you are still growing then you may need more insulin.

As Im sure you know, eating more carbs / sugar will raise your blood sugar BUT feeling tired with a high sugar suggests that you are not getting enough insulin so even if you are eating normally your body responds by breaking down fat (hence the weight loss) to increase the sugar in your blood. Without enough insulin you cannot use that sugar as energy so you feel tired.

Have you used the same injection sites for a long time and can you feel 'lumps' under the skin?
Sometimes a condition called hyperlipidotrophy develops and insulin is not absorbed from those sites.

Infection can cause a raised blood sugar but you would probably know about that by now if it has been a problem long enough to cause weight loss.

You need to speak to a diabetic specialist nurse or diabetes doctor. Something is wrong and needs sorting but dont worry too much, just speak to someone who can help. :-)

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/N6U9X

A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

I am type 1 from about 19 yrs.
I have had this when i just get ill, like flue or fever.
I was using Mixtard 30/70 insulin.
but from about one year i converted to Lantus (once a day) and Novorapid (penfill) just before meals
it is great really
Guss what I can eat now more flexible than ever, and if I eat something sweet I just take more novorapid and every thing goes all right.
by the way you have to have a Doctor that will convert you to Lantus and Novorapid and he'll tell you how much yo take from each of them

You need to discuss this with your Dr. I am a 35 year type 1 diabetic and know what your saying when my sugar get high I get the same feeling so far I have been able to regulate it with diet exercise and insulin. Good Luck. God has been very good to me I do not have that many complications

Diabetes is far more complicated than most realise. I cannot say what is wrong with you but it certainly sounds like you should have your consultant or GP check this out as soon as possible. I agree with the idea that it could be Ketoacidosis. Which if it is, can be dangerous, as I am sure you know.

From your description, kammy, your blood sugars have been out of control for a while ("latley, i've been loosing alot of weight, i fell tiered, i can't eat, my blood sugar won't come down, i walk a couple of yards and i have to sit down"). All of the above symptoms indicate that your ketoacidotic ... your body is producing ketones through improper fat metabolism. i.e. that's why you continue to lose weight. This also indicates why you're having to sit down after only a couple of yards.

Sadly, honey, this is not a temporary phase. Until your blood sugars are back under control, this will continue. As others have already stated, this can lead to some very severe complications ... some of which can be life threatening.

I have no wish to alarm you, but you really do need to see a doctor. Although an earlier suggestion was that you take extra soluble insulin, unless you're used to doing this confidently, my advice would be to allow the doctor to do this for you. You really don't want to be going from one extreme to the other.

Please let me reassure you, that with the correct treatment this can soon be overcome. Please do something about it now ... or first thing in the morning. Your body really shouldn't be having to deal with this, and complications make matters worse. Believe me, I know, through experience.

If you need further advice/support, please don't hesitate to email me. There's really no need for you to be battling by yourself.
