The women I notice who smoke really long cigarettes like the 120's seem to project and elegance.....?

yet, sometimes, snobish, I am better than you attitude...what do you think goes throught their minds when choosing a long cigarette...is it to project a sexy, sophisticated image or are there other reasons...I am not interested in whether or not you think smoking is right or wrong...just what women's attitudes are that smoke 120 length cigarettes....is it an intentional image choice or what is it?

I would assume it's because the longer cigarettes (100's, 120's) are lighter. I smoke kings, but part of the reason is because I don't like smoking "rich, old woman cigs" and they're also so light, they have no flavor. I'd actually venture to say that people DON'T smoke them as an intentional image choice.

As for the snobby attitude, these women you're referring to don't realize that smoking doesn't make them any more glamorous than they think they are.

The 120's cost the same as the regular length cigarettes. I have seen people smoke a cigarette and not be quite through, so they light up another one. If they bought the 120's, they would actually be paying half the price since they are only smoking one.

I used to smoke the 120s because you would get more for your money and it would last longer. I guess I am not the only one! I find it very funny that someone would think it was elegant when it is really just being frugal. What do you think now? Do you see these women in a different light?

Yea but after the first 2 or 3 drags it looks like a regular length cigarette so I mean unless someone sees them for the first few drags it's pointless. Maybe they have a subconscious want to be that broad from the Flintstones who smoked long cigarettes, remember her? "I'm muchhhh too important to be caaaaptured." LOL!!!!

I agree with you, but there is another side to that. Most of the women I see that do smoke the long ones, and project that attitude, are usually red necks and trailer trash "I wanna be on Springer" types. So I think they buy the long smokes to make them look more elegant and lady like.
But I could be wrong.

When I did smoke (quit almost 7 years ago!) I smoked the longer cigarettes because I felt like I got more for my money and they lasted longer than the shorter ones.

i smoke the menthol superkings, which is i suppose the long 1's you are talking about. i dont think i am elegant or a snob just because i smoke a long cigarette, i smoke them because i enjoy them and for no other reason. i dont think i am sexy either because i smoke a long cigarette, i am going through the process of giving up because i think it is anything other than being sexy, elegant or snobbish....

Actually they is nothing sexy about smoking a cigarette at any length. Its a gross and disgusting habit. When a person gets lung cancer, its an awful disease and terrible way to die.
