Yeah, they gave you the flip answers, but I'll lead you to the good stuff--Mexican hot chocolate (pronounced simply "choh-koh-LAH-tay" in Mexico. There are several brands but stop at the yellow box marked "Abuelita" (loosely translated as "Grandma"). Inside you will find large round tablets of cinnamonny-chocolate perfection.

Traditionalists will blanch at what I'm about to say, but this modern method of preparation is better than getting impatient and sore from working a molenillo over a hot stove and doing a halfway job. Heat milk in a microwave to just short of boiling; pour into a blender. While milk is heating, pound an unopened tablet of Abuelita with a meat mallet until the tablet is in large chunks. Start blender; add chunks of Abuelita through the hole in the lid. Blend thoroughly, pour into mugs and savor!

In Spain:
Chocolate a la taza...
We have a special chocolate tablet that is for melting to make the rich, thick hot chocolate the spanish like. Really delicious.
It is usually accompanied by "Churros" a fried cruller.
Though if you ask for "una taza de chocolate caliente", that is what you'll get!
